A lunch cruise is the perfect way to admire the lake’s natural beauty and take a moment to enjoy life’s uniqueness. Leave the bustle of the city behind for a while and relax on the shimmering waves.

During 14 May-12 June and 12 August -28 August, lunch cruises are operated on the M/S Silver Sky. Tickets available here.

Relax in lakefront scenery

The sightseeing cruise route takes you through the stunning landscapes of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The boat departs from Laukontori, right in the heart of Tampere and just a short walk from Keskustori. The most impressive sight along the way is the magnificent Pyynikki Ridge, a formation dating back to the Ice Ages and the highest gravel ridge in the world.

Along the way, you’ll see the famous rotating auditorium of the Pyynikki Summer Theatre, the stunning hillside homes of Pispala, Hatanpää Manor, the Arboretum, and many other Tampere landmarks.
