Experience a scenic journey across Lake Pyhäjärvi! M/S Silver Sky serves delicious food paired with Tampere’s finest lake views. A scenic cruise is a wonderful way to admire the lake’s natural beauty and take a moment to enjoy life’s uniqueness. Leave the bustle of the city behind for a while and relax on the shimmering waves. The cruise includes audio commentary sharing stories about Tampere’s history and the sights visible from the ship.

During 19 June–1 August, scenic cruises on the M/S Silver Moon operate on Thursdays according to a separate schedule. Tickets available here.

Relax in lakefront scenery

The scenic cruise route takes you through the stunning landscapes of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The boat departs from Laukontori, right in the heart of Tampere and just a short walk from Keskustori. The most impressive sight along the way is the magnificent Pyynikki Ridge, a formation dating back to the Ice Ages and the highest gravel ridge in the world.

Along the way, you’ll see the famous rotating auditorium of the Pyynikki Summer Theatre, the stunning hillside homes of Pispala, Hatanpää Manor, the Arboretum, and many other Tampere landmarks.
